Join a Chavurah!

Chavurah (plural Chavurot) comes from the Hebrew word “chaver” which means friend. A chavurah is a small group of individuals who come together to share, learn and celebrate Jewish experiences in an informal, comfortable group setting.

  • Socialize
  • Expand your Jewish Knowledge
  • Explore Jewish spiritutality
  • Visit places of Jewish interest
  • Read and discuss Jewish books
  • Explore Jewish cooking

The possibilities are endless!  Each Chavurah sets its own direction.

A Chavurah brings people together and brings out the best in its members. It is the goal of Temple Sinai to assist in enhancing existing Chavurot and developing new Chavurot with individuals who have common interests.

Call the Temple Sinai office for an "application” which will help us find the best group for you. You will be contacted and matched up with others who have similar interests, backgrounds and requests. A meeting date will be arranged for your initial get-together.
