What is Sisterhood:
sis·ter·hood noun: The solidarity of women based on shared conditions, experiences or concerns.
We are women like YOU. We are mothers of preschoolers through teenagers, empty nesters, working women retirees. We are tennis players, teachers, marathon runners, lawyers, secretaries, mah jongg players, knitters and movie watchers.
We are united by our desire to work together to improve our community for ourselves, our children and others. We want to promote and further the ideals of Judaism as expressed through the Temple; to promote closer fellowship among our members and to advocate for religious, social, and educational activities.
Please join us.
There’s a place for you in Sisterhood. Regardless of your time availability, depth of your spirituality, how many friends you have within the congregation or the ages of your family members, there’s a place for you in Sisterhood. You can help make OUR Sisterhood more complete.
Join us to experience life together.
If you would like to be added to our mailing list please contact us at email@example.com. We hope to see you at our next event. Without you…we are one woman short!
Sisterhood Events Planned 2012-2013
Sisterhood had a fabulous year in 2011-2012. Thanks to everyone that attended events or volunteered to help with our many service projects. Sisterhood is currently identifying the schedule of events for next year. Our goal is to identify some projects that help our community and some that are social events. We will continue some of the events we did during the past such as:
-Assisting with the Purim Carnival
-Sponsoring Break the Fast at Yom Kippur
-Cooking Dinner for DU Hillel’s Adopt a Shabbat
Stay tuned for our complete list of 2012-2013 activities and events.

Temple Sinai Sisterhood Gift Shop
The Temple Sinai Sisterhood Gift Shop is located in the school wing of Temple Sinai. Please just ring the doorbell at the school entrance and let them know that you are there to visit the gift shop. It’s located halfway down the hall on the right. We are very fortunate to have such an outstanding gift shop and Jane Kranich, our Gift Shop Manager, is always available to assist with any gift buying quandaries.
The Gift Shop recently received a new and improved ‘look’. If you haven’t stopped by in while, please do. We have many new lines of merchandise and are sponsoring some local artists. Drop by and see us.
