Our Current Committees:
Adult Education
Provides programming for adults interested in Judaic education.
Archive
Dedicated to preserving our history, this committee organizes, preserves and collects photos and historical information,
Brotherhood
Provides opportunities for men from Temple Sinai to come together for a variety of activities throughout the year. Promotes fellowship among members and actively serves the Temple Sinai community. Main mission is to foster and support religious, social, educational and humanitarian causes, and to raise funds for youth programs and for the Sinai community.
Caring Committee
The Temple Sinai Caring Community works together to reach out to our congregants in their moments of need and celebration.
CHAI
Diverse, self directed, social activities for Temple Sinai adults – singles and couples
Connectivity
Works to create a belonging and embracing culture where members are friendly and spiritually connected
Cultural Arts
Plans cultural Arts events such as speakers and concerts
Religious School
Representative group that makes recommendations, develops policy, and supports special projects for the Religious School
ENCORE
Diverse, self directed, social activities for Temple Sinai adults – singles and couples.
Fundraising/Development
Development of congregational fund raising projects
Building Committee
Makes recommendations to board for improvements or alterations necessary at the Temple.
Library
Establishes best means to preserve and collect resource materials and plans library activities
Membership
Provides programming for potential members and implements a plan that will encourage membership retention.
Preschool
Makes recommendations, develops policy, and supports special projects for the Preschool.
Sisterhood
Sisterhood is an auxiliary of Temple Sinai that is made up of female members with a varied group of ages, backgrounds and family orientation. We come together in friendship for unique programs, social activities, educational study, and support within a spiritual arena; all that benefits our congregation, community and most importantly, the growth of an individual so that each may find an opportunity to fulfill her potential as a person and as a Jewish woman. Social Action
Implementation and publicity of programs that will encourage involvement in human welfare issues.
Ushering
Ushering for High Holy Day Services.
Volunteer Choir
Provides choral music for selected services, such as High Holy Day services.
