ENCORE Adult Programs
ENCORE Adult Programs
Encore is a group of involved adults 60+ who go places and do things together. About once a month, we schedule a group outing around town and we score some attractive Senior rates! While always geared toward the interests of active seniors, everyone is welcome regardless of age. We do not have memberships in Encore. If you see an activity coming up that you would like to attend, sign up and join us! We also welcome any new ideas for activities.

Here is some food for thought:
Fun Events Around Town
Our outings are diverse. You can find us at a Rockies game or on a tour of an ethnic market. We enjoy museums, theater, symphony rehearsals and cooking classes. This year we also visited a winery and a jazz club and we have even explored West Side Jewish Denver.
Informative Speakers
Staying closer to home, we invited informative speakers to address the congregation. These speakers have expert knowledge of issues that affect seniors. Some topics have included medical issues, insurance, finances and conversations with children. We did this a few years ago and are thinking of presenting that forum again soon.
Giving
We even fulfill our philanthropic desires by providing rice and bagging it for the Jewish Family Service food pantry.
Transportation
What works for you? Organize a car pool from Temple Sinai with other Encore members or meet us at the event itself. Sometimes we even rent a bus and all go together.
Registering for an Activity
Whether you are looking for an activity during the day, or a mid-summer outing–Encore is the place to be! For more information, email Lisa Thorner or call (303) 759-1827.

However, they warm to him after realizing that Bart and his perpetually drunk gunfighter friend (Gene Wilder) are the only defense against a wave of thugs sent to ride the town of its population.
Popcorn will be provided. Hot dogs, chips and drinks will be available beginning at noon for $5.00. (Movie will follow lunch at approximately, 12:30 p.m.) Reservation for food is required. Please RSVP for the event to Lisa Thorner at the Temple at lisa@sinaidenver.org or 303-759-1827.
