I'd like to tour your school, is that something that I

can do?

  • Currently, due to CoVID-19, only staff and enrolled children are allowed to enter our building, however, we have created a virtual tour which can be viewed here.

How do I know which age group my child will be in?

  • Our parent-tot program is for children who are under 15 months and their parents and/or caregivers.

  • Our 15 month program is for children who are 15 months or older and confidently walking on their start date.

  • Our two year-old program is for children who are two by October 1, 2020

  • Our three year-old program is for children who are three by October 1, 2020

  • Our pre-kindergarten program is for children who are four by October 1, 2020

Does my child need to be potty trained in order to

attend school?

We encourage all children entering the three year-old program to be potty trained by the first day of school; however, we understand that not all children are ready. If your child is not potty trained when entering the three-year-old program, we ask that you work with our staff to assist you in the process.

My child has extra needs, what is your policy on

providing extra needs services?

Temple Sinai Preschool will consider the admission of a child with extra needs if the child will benefit from the inclusive environment that Temple Sinai offers all students. The Preschool Director, along with the Learning Consultant, will determine whether the staff has the training and ability to work with the needs of that child.

Immunization Policy

Beginning with the launch of the 2019-20 academic year, all students and staff enrolled in Temple Sinai Preschool are required to have age-appropriate vaccines as determined by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).

In 2015, The Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) adopted a Mandatory Immunization Policy resolution with which all Reform congregations are being encouraged to align. We know that some of our parents may have chosen to defer the vaccination of their children. Nonetheless, for the Temple Sinai community, this is not about individual rights and choice, but rather, it is an issue of public health and policy.
